To δίκτυο της Microsoft ION μπαίνει σε λειτουργία

Το δίκτυο ταυτοποίησης διαδικτυακών λογαριασμών της Microsoft με την ονομασία ION μπήκε σήμερα σε stable λειτουργία ένα χρόνο μετά την διάθεση της πρώτης του Beta έκδοσης.

Four years ago, we started a journey to help develop and advance decentralized identity, an emerging form of identity technology that empowers individuals and creates new business capabilities. Our goal is to put individuals, organizations, and other entities at the center of the apps, services, and digital exchanges that increasingly play a pivotal role in our lives. Among all the technical development required to deliver decentralized identity, none is more important than Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs).

To δίκτυο ΙΟΝ που βρίσκεται σε ανάπτυξη εδώ και 4 χρόνια από την Microsoft είναι ένα second layer αυτόνομο node δίκτυο που κάνει εγγραφές timestamping πάνω στο Bitcoin blockchain σύστημα. Με αυτό το τρόπο δίνει την δυνατότητα στους χρήστες να δημιουργούν ένα ψηφιακό DID όπου μπορούν να χρησιμοποιούν ως το προσωπικό τους ψηφιακό κλειδί καταργώντας στην ουσία την χρονοβόρα χρήση password.
