H IBM δημιουργεί το δικό της Blockchain σύστημα

Σύμφωνα με άρθρο της The Wall Street Journal η IBM είναι έτοιμη μέσα στους επόμενους μήνες να παρουσιάσει το δικό της οpen source Blockchain σύστημα για smart contracts. Όπως αναφέρει ο senior vice president στον τομέα έρευνας της εταιρείας Arvind Krishna το νέο σύστημα θα είναι βασισμένο πάνω στον open source κώδικα του Bitcoin αλλά δεν θα χρησιμοποιεί κάποιο ψηφιακό νόμισμα σαν token και θα κατοχυρώνει smart contracts με τις λεπτομέρειες τους να παραμένουν ιδιωτικές.

“Within the next few months, the venerable tech giant plans to release open source software that could be used to create digital contracts that – like bitcoin transactions – would be recorded publicly and securely on a world-wide computer network. Over the past year, IBM researchers have been developing their own version of blockchain, which the company said could be used to create secure online contracts.”
