H διεθνής φιλανθρωπική οργάνωση ChildFund δέχεται πλέον δωρεές και σε Bitcoin σε συνεργασία με την εταιρεία ψηφιακών πληρωμών Bitpay. H Elizabeth Ploshay από το Bitpay δήλωσε ενθουσιασμένη για την όλο και μεγαλύτερη αποδοχή του Bitcoin από τα φιλανθρωπικά ιδρύματα
